What Makes Seedance 2.5 Different?
Seedance 2.5 extends single-pass generation from 15 to 30 seconds and raises the reference ceiling so a clip can carry a fuller story — setup, development, and resolution — instead of stretching one moment.
On VidTool AI, Seedance 2.5 supports text-to-video, first-frame or first-and-last-frame image-to-video, and reference-to-video with up to 30 images. Output is 480p or 720p across six aspect ratios, with optional native audio generated alongside the picture.
Four Capabilities That Change the Workflow
Each one maps to a production need — from prompt-only drafts to multi-reference storytelling.
Text-to-Video
Generate from a detailed prompt alone across 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1, 21:9. Duration is an integer from 4 to 30 seconds in a single pass.
First & Last Frame
Upload one image as the opening frame, or two images to define where a shot starts and ends. First/last-frame mode is mutually exclusive with multi-image reference mode.
Multi-Image Reference
Upload 3–30 reference images to steer characters, scenes, and style. ByteDance documents up to 30 images, 10 videos, and 10 audio clips as the full reference ceiling; the workspace currently exposes image references.
Native Audio
Optional audio is generated with the video. Direct dialogue, ambience, and effects in the same prompt as the visuals.
